UBL: Who Got NEXT?!!0

Forget March Madness, the 10th Anniversary season of the Uptown Basketball League is upon us! We have a lot of great changes in store for you, including a new partnership with the Chicago Park District’s Clarendon Park Community Center (home to our Uptown Uprizing fam, Kuumba Lynx). The league is set to begin with the 1st practice on April 5th with the 1st game taking place on April 10th.

This year, we are focusing much more on recruiting directly from the Uptown neighborhood so the amount of spots available through MCYP are limited! For more information on how to register, please check out our temporary blog site: www.uptownbasketball.wordpress.com .

New & Exciting Changes:

• As a result of our partnership with the Chicago Park District, our league cost is down to $6!!! This cost includes participation fee & a UBL jersey!
• After downsizing to a 6 team league last season, the UBL is back up to 8 teams! Expect more competition & more excitement!
• New Coaches! We will have three new coaches joining us this year!
• A brand new format??!!! You’ll have to stay tuned for this one…
• & of course, a brand new website to check your stats & weekly recaps!
