I like to write, socialize, travel, eat, laugh, and love. I do everything I can that MCYP offers such as, dance, write, cook, fight, act, draw, reflect, march, sing, play, and rest the day away. As for goals, who knows what will happen in the future, but for now, I just want to go to college.

I like MCYP because of its good environment; it’s a chill spot. People here are laid back. I like sports, friends, music, and hanging out. My goal is to make the “American Dream” a reality.

I love MCYP because it provides me with opportunities in life that I can’t find anywhere else. I’m proud to be a part of MCYP because I want to be a part of the movement of freedom. My future goals/plans is to explore the values of life. I’m trying to be myself, you know what I’m saying? When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

Hola! Usually, when I’m bored or feel like socializing and having fun, I walk a block down from my apartment to go to the one and only MCYP! This place is indescribable. It is a place where I can sit back and chill with my friends. However, most importantly, MCYP is a home that I could be myself without any worries at all. After high school, I hope to have a career that makes me happy. Additionally, I pray that one day I can find a way to repay my mom for everything she has given.

MCYP helps me find out more about myself. It’s a really comfortable atmostphere, where I can just chill. In the future, I would like to become a court-side medical doctor for injured players.

MCYP let me open up and got me into writing. Now I write poetry and songs, but not the type of songs you would hear in mainstream media. I go a lot because it’s a safe zone. I can talk about anything. I hope to just do something that affects people in a great way and leave a legacy. I want to make people happy just like how I always am, just want to make people appreciate life for what it is.

I am a female youth leader and a write at MCYP. I like being able to express myself in any form of writing. I like to shop, work, and go to MCYP in my spare time. As for future plans, I’d like to major in English and get a job at a fashion magazine company.

I love my MCYP fam because they are some real people I can chill with anytime. My future goal is to graduate college and to continue participating in MCYP.

MCYP is where family is. It is a place where no matter how different or how strange, MCYP will always accept you for who you are. It is the place to be yourself, a place where imagination runs wild, and a place that brings ideas to life. In the future, I see MCYP always being here, not literally a space or a building, but in my work of giving love to community and people.
